Malea

(Above: jewel encrusted drop-waist ball gown by Dennis Basso for Kleinfeld.)

Malea may not work for a bridal magazine, like my first bride Ali, but Malea had tried on as many dresses as you would find in a magazine!  In fact, she created her own magazine from photos of the 60 plus dresses she had already said “no” to.  Because I had previously worked with her at another trunk show in the LA. area, I was even with her in one of the photos!

Every dress Malea tried on just didn’t make her “light up.”  This theme continued during her bridal appointment at my LA. Randy to the Rescue trunkshow.  But when I put her in this crystal and pearl encrusted Dennis Basso drop-waist ball gown with layers of organza ruffles, I finally found the gown she would say, “yes” to!  To complete her “Head-to Hem” makeover, Lindsay gave Malea a dramatic hairstyle that was swept to one side that was further enhanced by Raychel’s flawless “Hollywood ready” makeup.

A crystal headpiece and earrings completed Melea’s bridal look.

Because Melea’s gown was already so dramatic, I chose a simple cathedral-length veil by Malis Henderson.
