Kaitlin needed my help finding a gown that fit her personality and not everyone’s “idea” of what she should look like on her wedding day.  The dresses that Kaitlin tried on prior to coming to Randy to the Rescue all seemed too frilly and “frou frou” for her. She did not want to look like the typical bride in a strapless gown and high heels. Being a Dallas Cowboy cheerleader Kaitlin is used to glamour, however, for her wedding she wanted something that fit her more bohemian chic style and that will also compliment the Texas tree farm where the wedding will be held.

When Kaitlin stepped into this Clair Pettibone multi-tiered sheath, she knew she had found her perfect dress.  Even though her entourage was not as enthused by her selection, everyone knew it was THE dress for Kaitlin by the way she glowed. The addition of a fold over lace-trimmed veil by Cheryl King (Truffle) helped complete Kaitlin’s transformation to a beautiful bride.

Kaitlin wanted a dramatic back to her gown and the pointed lace trimmed train on this gown gave her just that. The length of the train was also perfect for an outdoor setting.

My rough sketch for Kaitlin’s bridal blueprint illustrating the tiers of guipure lace on her gown and fold over lace-trimmed veil.

Kaitlin’s “head to hem” makeover was complete with the addition of Thomas Knoell earrings (Lola) and an Erin Cole headband. In keeping with the Boho-Chic look, Paul styled Kaitlin’s hair into flowing waves and Lesley kept the makeup natural with on emphasis on Kaitlin’s rosy cheeks and beautiful lips.
