After losing 60 pounds recently, Savannah bride Courtney was still not confident with her new figure. After dismissing dress after dress during her appointment, Brittnee was not feeling any more confident than when she walked in and didn’t even want to leave the dressing room. I took a moment in the dressing room to help Brittnee see the beautiful woman she is today and forget how she looked before she lost 60 pounds.
Together, Brittnee and I started looking through all the dresses in the salon. To my surprise she pointed out a ball gown that I would have never pulled based on her extensive list of likes. With everyone loving the silhouette on Brittnee, but her mom not loving the gown, I selected a ball gown from Alita Graham with an even bigger skirt.
Everyone agreed that this showstopper was perfect for this Southern Belle and Brittnee gave a big “hell yes” to the dress! With the help of my hair and makeup team Lindsay and Raychel we created Brittnee’s perfect look for her wedding day.
Lindsay kept the hairstyle natural and soft, while Raychel chose a “less is more” makeup application, in Raychel’s words, “the best version of Brittnee”
